Leadership Camp for Sustainable Forests: An experiential field-based learning with local communities

Are you ready to become a future forest leader?

Learn together with a local community and gain insights into what is takes to become a leader from 2013’s UN Forest Hero award winner, Preecha Siri. Participants will live in the homes of ethnic Karen community members in Bann Huay Hin Lad Nai, Karen Community, Chiang Rai, Thailand.

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • enhanced leadership capacities in the context of sustainably managed forests;
  • shared and learned from representatives of different countries on the practice of sustainably managed forests;
  • strengthened and expanded collaboration amongst innovative young people who can be nurtured as future leaders to promote sustainable forests.
